Transservice (PROTEK Group) Is Now ISO 9001 Certified Organization
Transservice Custom, the main logistics center of Protek Group, received ISO certification in mid-May. This achievement confirms that Transservice’s business processes conform to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management Systems — Requirements.
The certificate covers the main logistics operations, such as storage, warehouse handling and transportation of pharmaceutical products (medicinal products for human use, medical devices, dietary supplements, and cosmetics), and customs services.
In the period from December 2018 to March 2019, the auditors of TÜV SÜD (Germany), one of the global leaders in quality management system certification, performed a thorough inspection of Transservice’s facilities, which included review of documents, manufacturing sites’ field examinations (both warehouses and offices), and personnel interview. In April, TÜV SÜD confirmed that Transservice’s business processes conform to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
“Innovative pharmaceutical logistics companies aim to work towards complying with internationally recognized Good Distribution Practices, which describe all basic principles of proper distribution, storage, and transportation of medicinal products. This certificate shows our commitment in following the fundamental principles of quality management. These principles have been incorporated into the baseline of GDP by ISO, the most popular international standard, while taking into account the specifics of the industry,” pointed out Viktor Bovtun, General Director of Transservice.
The certificate is valid through end-April 2022. During this time, the Transservice’s management plans to perform a number of surveillance audits and, finally, a recertification audit.
