PROAPTEKA TO INTRODUCE FOUR-STEP INTEGRATION SYSTEM FOR PHARMACIES IN 2020
In 2020, the marketing union of independent pharmacies ProApteka plans to introduce a system of deep integration for its member pharmacies. This model will include four options: Lite, Standard, Rational, and Profitable.
There are several conditions that the members must observe in order to join the system, one of which is to follow procurement and sales standards of ProApteka.
In addition, pharmacies will need to maintain the assortment matrix, ensure that the percentage of notional private label SKUs in their product range reaches planned targets, and participate in the Product of the Day promotion.
Depending on its chosen integration option, each quarter the pharmacy will earn a bonus of 1.5% to 5% of its monthly procurement figures.
“Our main condition for a pharmacy that wants to participate in the integration project is that it must show its connection to ProApteka or ZdravCity. In the first case, they will only need to place the ProApteka’s logo: the pharmacy will keep its identity. In the second case, when our client wishes to operate under the brand ZdravCity, the pharmacy will transform so that it matches the brand’s style. In 2Q 2019, we launched a project which is very similar to the franchise in its concept, and it became very popular among pharmacies of Moscow, Moscow Region, North Western Region, and Kaliningrad. Having examined 2019 figures, we identified an effective cooperation scheme for all participants, which we described as deep integration of pharmacies into the marketing union,” says ProApteka’s CEO Evgeniy Korotkov.
The federal marketing union of independent pharmacies ProApteka is a leading pharmacy association operating on the Russian retail pharmaceutical market. The union was founded by CV PROTEK in August 2016. According to RNC Pharma’s figures for 1H 2019, ProApteka ranks first among pharmacy associations and internet project for pharmacies. Its commercial market share is 6.7%.
