CV Protek launched distance learning project within CPE
In August, CV Protek launched a distance learning project titled “University PRO” as part of its continuing pharmaceutical education (CPE) model. Any participant who listens all ten educational videos (available at f3pro.ru, a portal developed by the marketing association of independent pharmacies ProApteka) created by various partner pharmaceutical manufacturers, and who then successfully passes the testing, will, after having selected the desired professional development program at the university’s website, get access to a free education module at Sechenov University. Once the participant successfully finishes the program, he or she will earn 36 credits (one credit equals one academic hour).
Only pharmacies that are members of ProApteka association can access f3pro.ru platform. Protek plans to launch the University PRO mobile application in October 2019, thereby providing access to the option for all its clients.
“The specialist accreditation procedure, which was first introduced in 2016, is different from the usual certification that previously any pharmaceutical professional had to undertake every five years. Now, each specialist must develop an individual 5-year study plan and then take courses as they see fit, earning credits in the process. University PRO project offers all pharmacists an opportunity to earn the required 250 credits (50 per year). We have done everything we could to make the transition to the continuing pharmaceutical education system as smooth for our colleagues as possible,” pointed out Olga Smirnova, Development Director of Protek.
